Our history
The MR8 was founded in September 2015 by two aerospace engineers with the will and ambition to put their knowledge and experience in the aerospace sector at the service to find smart solutions to engineering problems that require cutting-edge technological applications and need innovation. The company, based in Olbia (SS), is divided into 3 synergistically connected areas: Engineering, Prototyping and Innovation.
Since 2016 MR8 has been a member of the Aerospace District of Sardinia with which it collaborates within specific projects in the sector, making available its skills in the field of mechanical and fluid dynamic design of aerospace components and systems.
The company is constantly engaged in the development of innovative projects, which include products and services, such as the ASTEC project - AeroSpace Technology Education Center which deals with dissemination and education in aerospace technologies and provides innovative teaching tools.
In line with the corporate mission, the MR8 team is active in industrial research projects with business partners and universities in order to guarantee constantly updated know-how and the most innovative design and construction techniques. In addition to engineering and prototyping, the company deals with the development and supply of GSE and GSS (Ground Support Equipment and System) and didactic-laboratory instrumentation.
Our mission
The company mission is based on the continuous search for smart solutions to obtain products with high added value HAV products, incorporating innovative technologies and through processes with high quality standards.
Quality
All our work aims to provide the highest quality services. The processes are developed in accordance with the ISO 9001: 2015 regulatory scheme and, for the applicable parts, with the ECSS-M, guaranteed through regular quality checks.
