Rocco Gigliotti

Master's degree in aerospace engineering with specialization in structures at the Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis on the design and preliminary structural analysis of the cryogenic upper stage of the new generation launcher. 

Previous experience in the design and construction of aerospace components, first at THALES Alenia Space SPA - Turin - and later on behalf of ASI as CNES / ESA National Surveillance Operator (NSO) for the components of the Ariane launcher 5 produced in Piedmont. 
Speaker on behalf of DASS scarl in the context of the Italy-South Africa Matchmaking Event on Aerospace at the CSIR - International Convention Center - Pretoria, speaker on Computer-Aided Monitoring Algorithm in the Wild life Strike aviation safety workshop at the airport Cagliari - Elmas and technical consultant of the Regional Emergency Emergency Agency of the Sardinia region in the context of the HEMS project. 

He currently holds the role of Chief Executive Officer / Chief Technical Officer of MR8 srls as responsible for the activities: Advanced industrial and aerospace products and systems design; Studies of feasibility and High Added-Value products and systems; Business management; Projects management; Planning and management of functional and certification aeronautical system tests.

Passionate about aeronautics, technology and with marked inventiveness, he is gifted with problem-solving skills in problems that require ingenuity, technical and manual skills.

Marilisa Pischedda

Master's degree in aerospace engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis on structural design, trade-off of materials and technological processes of inflatable structures for inhabited space modules. 

Previous experience in the field of structural design and construction of aerospace components, at THALES Alenia Space SPA, in the context of cryogenic tank projects for European launchers, lunar and Martian exploration landers, inhabited inflatable modules, expandable structures, structures for insulating panels for European pitchers. Project engineering for partner / supplier monitoring and control and for prototyping. 
Aeronautical Certification Engineer at Leonardo (ex-Alenia Aeronautica, Caselle - Turin), Airworthiness office, as part of military certification programs for aircraft. 

She currently holds the role of Chief Innovation Officer of MR8 srls as responsible for technological innovation and development of new products: Advanced industrial, aerospace and nautical products and systems design; Studies of feasibility and High Added-Value products and systems; Projects management; Planning and management of functional and certification aeronautical system tests. Director of the ASTEC. 

Passionate about astronautics and space exploration, with aptitudes to planning and scientific dissemination, she is gifted with creativity and makes her work a real passion.
